About Kackar
· Kackarlar is in east Karadeniz Mountain Series. Kackar Mountain Range is in Artvin. They are near Erzurum and Rize Frontier. The highest hill is 3932 m tall.
· In summer and winter months, Mountainer came to the Kackar to climb. The Kackars is the most favourite place the nature and mountain company
· Before the North is used more,but in few years the South is used more than north
· If you want to came the Kackars on North, before you have to came to Yusufeli Township. You came on Asphalt until Sarýgöl. After Sarýgöl you came on gravel road. While you came Olgunlar, you past Barhal, Demirdöven, Yaylalar Village. The Motorway and in Olgunlar.From Yusufeli to Olgunlar is take about three hours.
· It is easy to come Artvin. You can find the bus from all Turkey’s city to Artvin. Öz Artvin Expres, Lüks Artvin Seyahat and Efes Tur is the company which is carrying the people to Artvin
· The two way is used to arrive Yusufeli(Yusufeli is a Artvin’s town) The one is from Erzurum Way, The other is from Artvin. The same carrying company is working twos.
· To arrive Yaylalar Village, before you have to arrive Yusufeli, After you come Yusufeli, If you get on a Yaylalar Village’s Dolmuþ, they get you to Olgunlar.Everyday Dolmuþ leaves from Yusufeli after 3 p.m. It isn’t definite and Dolmuþ leave from Olgunlar at 5 a.m.
· From Olgunlar to Yusufeli there is a lot of village. While you come to Olgunlar, you also arrive his village.
· Also, If you want to go Ayder, we carry your equipment with donkey
· If you want to travel by minibus you should go Yusufeli Bus Garage. The Minibus leave from Yusufeli at 3 p.m. The price is fixed by The Driver Association. If you want to go dilber düzü you have to came Olgunlar.

In the center of Artvin town lies The Cihan hotel. It has 36 well furnished rooms with 24 hours room service. It provides all the usual services and amenities including babysitting services. The hotel staff is friendly.
However, being a poorer region of Turkey, the place has very few good hotels. The influx of women from the former Soviet Union for prostitution converted many cheap hotels into brothels. You should therefore look for overnight accommodation in the nearby towns like Ayder and Kars or in Yusufeli town in the Kackar Mountains.
Artvin is well connected by road to every part of Turkey and within 4 hours’ travel time from nearby cities.
The local vegetarian diet consists of beet grown naturally on mounts and gardens. A non-vegetarian dish called Pucako is made from a mixture of meat, sour and dried fresh beans. Nepursen, dishes made with dried vine leaves are cuisine particular to Artvin. The local cuisine also includes a variety of pastries and cookies.
