This wonderful hotel is located in Kaleiçi, the old part of Antalya City, just a few minutes walk from the seafront. The hotel has been converted from 2 Konak houses, places where merchants received visitors during the Ottoman times.

All rooms have private bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV and a safe box, and many of the rooms have a jacuzzi. Each room is decorated individually, but all in local styles. The rooms are large and contain many of their original features which were discovered during the building’s conversion.
The restaurant is outdoor during the summer months, surrounding the pool in the central garden area. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style, but hot food is cooked to order at guests request. There is also live music with dinner, and the hotel hold a cultural night once a week. The bar is also beside the pool, and the area is beautifully shaded by the many trees and climbing vines which are growing here.
A very traditional style hotel, it even offers full turkish bath facilities. the Alp Paþa offers much history, but also all the comfort that its guests require.

The pool is in the rear courtyard, which is also used for breakfast, that may be taken at any time, and is a most pleasant environment for guests to sit and enjoy the views and atmosphere. There is also another, smaller garden to the side of the hotel which looks out over the harbour, and is filled with beautiful flowering plants, and edged with an original part of the city walls.

In 1895 this house was restaurated by captain Osman Bey in the ottoman style. He built 7 rooms and 2 salons. Members of his family lived here until 1930. Then the “three widows” how were tailors, lived here. After they died the family Baykal bought the house in 1967. In 1988 a new renovation turned the building in the “Marina Building Style” with 12 rooms and 2 salons.This special place with it`s special history and it`s special roman flair, which is different from all the bars and restaurants in Kaleici, offering 41 rooms, a roman style swimming pool, a sauna and a fitness center is waiting for you to explore it and to establish new friendships. If you have not brought your own wood on the trip, gather wood that is already dead and lying nearby. Make sure that any leaves close to the fire pit are raked several yards away and that there are no paper products lying on the ground. Throw those in the trash.
Once the fire is started, let it build slowly with smaller twigs and dead branches, only placing larger pieces of wood on the pile as the flame grows.
